How bias is derived (heuristic, not advice): each event scores sign(actual − forecast), flipped for "lower-is-better" series (claims, inventories, job cuts), weighted by impact (High×3, Med×2, Low×1). Unreleased events contribute a small expectation lean from forecast vs previous. USD = sum of USD scores minus a fraction of EUR/GBP/JPY high-impact surprises. XAU/USD ≈ inverse USD plus inflation-surprise tilt. OIL = inventory draws/builds + CNY/global demand surprises minus a USD-strength drag. This is a rough screening tool — confirm against price action and the live FF calendar before acting on it. Data: nfs.faireconomy.media weekly feed (refreshes every few minutes server-side; 30s polling just catches updates quickly). News is parsed server-side from the Forex Factory news page (forexfactory.com/news) — FF-only, fetched at most once / 90s. Impact dots are FF's own red/orange/yellow ratings; "NEW" flags stories that appeared since the last refresh.
